By Serena Spiezio, Executive Vice President, GAVIN™
As we close out 2025, I’ve been reflecting on the extraordinary work our teams delivered alongside our clients, and what that work revealed about the challenges organizations are facing today.
This past year required clarity, speed, and sound judgment. Across industries, our clients faced heightened visibility, tighter timelines, and growing pressure to demonstrate impact. They were not simply looking for execution. They needed partners who could help navigate complexity, align stakeholders, and make confident decisions in moments that mattered.
That reality shaped GAVIN’s work in 2025, and it is directly informing how we are approaching the year ahead.
WHAT 2025 DEMANDED OF ORGANIZATIONS AND THEIR PARTNERS
In 2025, GAVIN was trusted with increasingly complex engagements across financial services, healthcare, higher education, retail, and mission-driven organizations. In many cases, our role extended beyond marketing support to include strategic counsel, cross-functional coordination, and the ability to adapt quickly as conditions evolved.
Across public health initiatives, advocacy efforts, grant-supported programs, and multi-channel campaigns, our teams were asked to balance urgency with long-term impact. Moving quickly while maintaining strategic discipline became a defining theme of the year.
As expectations increased, so did the need for alignment and precision. Supporting national health systems and large, multi-location retail organizations reinforced the importance of speed, visibility, and decision-ready insight. Serving higher education partners required a nuanced understanding of trust-building, affordability concerns, and audience motivation. Each engagement sharpened our approach and reinforced a consistent lesson: sophisticated work requires focus, integration, and operational clarity.
SCALING A SPECIALIZED FOCUS: GAVIN FI’S GROWTH IN 2025
While GAVIN Fi officially launched in 2024, 2025 marked a year of meaningful growth and refinement for our financial services practice.
As regulatory scrutiny, reputational risk, and competition for trust intensified across the financial sector, GAVIN Fi expanded its support of financial services leaders seeking clarity and credibility in their communications. Rooted in public relations and executive visibility, and extending into omnichannel marketing, brand strategy, content development, and digital transformation, the practice was designed to meet the specific demands of the industry.
Our work across wealth management, insurance, and banking has focused on helping organizations communicate with consistency, authority, and transparency, particularly in moments where confidence and trust directly influence growth. GAVIN Fi reflects a broader evolution at GAVIN. We are intentionally specializing where precision and reputation matter most, while maintaining disciplined strategy at every stage.
STRENGTHENING HOW WE WORK TO BETTER SERVE CLIENTS
Alongside client work, 2025 was also a year of internal refinement.
We invested in strengthening processes, improving cross-functional collaboration, and integrating new technologies to increase efficiency and consistency across engagements. These efforts were not about adding complexity. They were about reducing friction and enabling teams to operate with greater clarity and speed.
Our focus on inclusivity and representation remained central, ensuring that the strategies we bring to market reflect the audiences and communities our clients serve. The result is work that resonates more deeply and performs more effectively across channels.
2026 PRIORITIES SHAPED BY EXPERIENCE
As we move into 2026, GAVIN is making deliberate choices about how we operate and where we focus. Our direction for the year ahead is grounded in experience and centered on delivering meaningful value for clients.
Our guiding mantra remains Innovate. Collaborate. Elevate., brought to life through four priorities:
- Outcomes-Driven Strategy
We are sharpening our focus on work that delivers measurable progress, not just activity. In 2026, clients will have clearer insight into what is working, what is not, and why. This clarity supports stronger decisions and more confident leadership.
- Speed With Strategic Discipline
The pace of change continues to accelerate. By refining workflows, streamlining approvals, and integrating AI where it adds real value, we are enabling faster delivery without compromising quality or judgment.
- Operational Excellence Through Integration
We are continuing our shift from service-specific silos to integrated, client-focused teams. This approach improves alignment, increases efficiency, and allows us to support clients more holistically as their needs evolve.
- AI, in its Place
We view AI as a tool that enhances human judgment, not a replacement for it. When paired with experience, creativity, and empathy, technology strengthens strategy and execution while keeping audiences and outcomes at the center of the work.

WHAT THIS MEANS FOR OUR CLIENTS IN 2026
Our focus for 2026 is clear: to deliver greater clarity, efficiency, and value in every engagement. By aligning strategy, structure, and execution around outcomes, we are ensuring that investments clients make with GAVIN works harder and smarter toward their goals.
Whether supporting financial institutions, national health systems, higher education partners, retail organizations, or mission-driven teams, our commitment remains the same. We aim to be a trusted partner who brings perspective, precision, and accountability to the work.
As we enter the new year, we do so grounded in experience and focused on what matters most: helping our clients navigate complexity and move forward with confidence.
If you are navigating complex communications decisions in the year ahead, we welcome the opportunity to connect and explore how GAVIN can support your goals.
