Does your website need a refresh?

Three websites our team has improved for client success in 2022

Are first impressions crucial? YES, especially in the growing digital world.

Your website is usually the first place your customers will visit to research your organization’s products and services. However, it’s not enough just to have a website – it first needs to be found. When the user clicks on your URL, the site needs to look attractive, present relevant and valuable information, and be accessible to anyone and from anywhere.

At Gavin, our digital and creative teams work diligently to help clients create and enhance their websites to support overall business growth.

Here are the top three tactics our team focuses on when updating websites:

1. Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

Improving searchability. SEO attracts search engines like Google to your site, which means you’ll appeal to the right customers.

Staying current. The more you refresh your website and add content like blogs, Google will consider your site more relevant, ranking it higher in search results.

2. Design

Making it easy to get around. Content and online marketing are great, but users will steer away if they can’t navigate the site.

Avoiding tricky navigation, obnoxious colors or long contact forms.

Being mobile-friendly. Over 50% of web traffic comes from mobile. This means that if your website isn’t easy reading on a phone, you could be missing out on potential customers.

3. ADA compliance

Making it accessible to all. ADA compliance refers to meeting the standards set by the Americans with Disabilities Act Standards for Accessible Design.

Being ADA compliant means your website is virtually accessible to every user. In addition, it also protects your organization against lawsuits and fines.

Here are three websites our team has updated to date in 2022:

CPC works to serve and advocate for programs and services to help families all across York County, supporting and empowering them on their way to self-sufficiency.

Gavin enhancedCPC’s website user experience by creating a location and map feature to connect users with the closest facilities to their homes.

Additionally, Gavin also worked to make its website ADA compliant.

FHCCP is a private, not-for-profit organization dedicated to improving health, preventing disease and promoting wellness across 28 PA counties.

Recently, its campaign “Keep Relationships Real” had its website design partially refreshed to enhance user experience user interface.

Gavin’s team created a new home page for the campaign as well as rebuilt the chat feature for instant customer feedback and faster support.

The website was also made to be ADA compliant.

Founded in 1999, CCP is a leading provider of components and compounds for the wire and cable, and optical fiber industries.

Gavin helped to ensure CCP’s web presence and brand strategy were up to par with modern standards by successfully redesigning website navigation to connect users with the right products and markets.

For example, we performed site map reconfiguration, content migration and a logo refresh.

Our team also worked to improve the site’s SEO and made it ADA compliant.
