Bubbling Over with New Brand Enthusiasm

Wyndridge Farm, a cider house, brewery, event space and craft beverage destination located in picturesque Central, PA knew it takes more than scenery to drive interest in a new brand. The brand strategists at Gavin worked closely with the owners of Wyndridge to define what its brand was, who it was targeting, and how the brand should be portrayed in the consumer’s mind.

We then gathered hundreds of images, colors, fonts and illustrations to use as inspiration to create the unique logo and identity. The scarf-wearing Wyndridge fox is more than just a logo; it’s a brand descriptor. The fox is known as an elegant, sly and crafty animal, and this essence captures the true spirit that is Wyndridge Farm.

Initially, the brand’s main visual outreach would be its beverage packaging. We realized that the cider case and bottle labels would be the first brand touchpoint for many customers. Conducting primary research at local distributors helped our design team create packaging that stands out on the shelves and differentiates the brand from its competitors.

We also developed various POS displays that helped grab the attention of customers in the stores. These local displays were picked up by regional and national distributors as the brand grew into new markets.

Wyndridge also pulled Gavin in to build awareness and generate buzz through a brand-centric website and a series of digital promotions. When the owners opened the Inn at Wyndridge Farm, our team crafted a comprehensive launch plan leveraging social media, digital media, publicity and email marketing. Gavin created feature stories to bring to the media, ensuring that Wyndridge’s desired message was what got to the press. Our efforts included consumer teaser social campaigns, editorial tours, sampling events with VIP media and event planner preview events.
