Communicating in Crisis and Adapting for Recovery (with Mandy Arnold and Kim Myers)
The COVID-19 pandemic has forced rapid fire changes in how brands communicate with the public and their employees. Gavin’s team of communications and public relations strategists has advised clients on how to pivot brand messaging during this crisis and proactively communicate operational changes with their workforce and customers. In this episode, we talk with Gavin President/CEO Mandy Arnold and Director of Public Relations Kim Myers about the history of crisis communications, how marketing and communications strategies have evolved during this pandemic to address shifting consumer habits and how companies adapted to digital tools under stay-at-home orders. We also discuss the rising demand for public relations services and how Gavin has been strategically growing to meet those needs.
